Where are Alan and Karla?

My first description of London is COLD!! Alan and I were not prepared for the cold weather. I think we were both focused on the warm weather in Southeast Asia, India and Egypt…but it is a very wet cold here in London. Alan didn’t even have a long sleeve shirt to wear, or a hat, or gloves. He wore 4 shirts under his jacket today. But we have made it through without having to purchase too many items. Next time we need to come in the summer when it is warm and check out the neighborhoods in London.

We did have a great time check out the city, neither of us have ever been to London. We did the tourist thing and purchased the hop-on-hop-off bus tour. We saw Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and much more…and I slept most of the time on the bus, so we ended up walking around again the next day to check out Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, etc.
